Roll Off Dumpster Tips for Troutdale, OR
How much is it to rent a temporary dumpster?
A 20 yard roll-off bin can cost as little as $300 in some cities, while in other cities rental fees can top $500 for the same size container. The standard rental includes seven days and a set weight allowance which varies by company. Rates can vary widely depending upon where you live, so be sure to call at least two rental providers before booking one to be sure you’re getting the best deal.
Larger containers carry heftier fees compared to smaller bins. For example, 40 yard roll-offs generally start in the $400 range and go up from there. Again, this can vary by location and according to your individual needs.
Other fees to consider (these don’t apply in every case):
- Exceeding the weight allowance leads to overage charges ($50-$100 per ton, typically)
- Daily fee for keeping the container longer than the standard rental period
- Charges for disposal of “special” wastes, such as scrap auto tires
Dumpster rental sizes
The most common roll-off dumpster sizes include:
- 10 yard
- 20 yard
- 30 yard
- 40 yard
